ROSS ORRETT

Ross has over 20 years of experience building and leading companies that deliver mission critical B2B software solutions. Ross has worked with technology companies across their lifecycle, including developing strategy, sales, operations, acquisitions and strategic exits. Ross has built and strategically exited three software / SaaS companies – generating a quarter billion dollars in shareholder value and has also been actively involved in a number of acquisitions throughout his career.

Most recently, Ross had a global leadership role with SAP, the world’s largest application software company following the successful acquisition of Camilion Solutions Inc. where he was CEO. The acquisition of Camilion’s technology and team were a cornerstone of SAP’s aggressive move into financial services and insurance. At SAP Ross was responsible for Insurance Innovation and Development, bringing together 40+ disparate technologies, operating models and industry best-practices into an end-to-end suite. At Camilion, a leading provider of product and policy management software to the Insurance industry Ross served as Chairman, CEO and President. Ross transformed the company from a start-up to a profitable, global player that was sought after by tier 1 insurance customers and strategic partners such as IBM, Oracle and SAP.

Through 2015, Ross was also Chair of the Advisory Board and major shareholder of Doxim Inc, a leader in customer communications software for the credit union, community bank and wealth management industries. Prior to that Ross was CEO of InSystems Corporation, a leader in regulatory document processing solutions to the financial services industry that was acquired by Standard Register in 2002. He currently serves on the board of a number of companies in the software sector.

Ross holds a degree from the University of Waterloo and successfully completed Stanford’s Executive Program for Growing Companies.
